This 3-day training course is an in-depth examination of the benefits planning and realisation process.

The course includes how to identify, plan and realise benefits, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of how to effectively manage benefits throughout a project or change initiative.

Delegates will understand key benefits planning and realisation techniques and practices, such as benefits identification, benefits mapping and benefits tracking, helping you to improve your skills and job performance in your current or future roles.

The course includes practical exercises, group discussions and a corporate case study to provide a more interactive learning experience, to give you an opportunity to apply the concepts learned.

Your Training Instructor: Bill Aitken

Bill has enjoyed around 30 years in IT, following on from 20 years commissioned service in the RAF. He offers a wide skillset, having been a developer (Ada, Java, Python, C, 8086 Assembly), Systems Analyst, Business Analyst and Software Tester in his time. He has developed/delivered IT courses ranging from one-hour, brown-bag consultancy sessions right up to solo 6-week, residential IT courses.

Clients have varied from blue-chip global enterprises in the financial, aviation, defence, retail and manufacturing industries down to individually owned companies. He has delivered courses in locations such as San Francisco in the west to Vilnius in the east; from Reykjavik in the north to Rome in the south, concluding with 4 years in the Middle East, developing competency systems for the oil and gas industries.

Bill is a state-registered teacher and a Charted Fellow of the British Computer Society.
